  First time we've been there in years and were pleasantly surprised. Food was great!  Service was ok for a Sunday night on a holiday weekend. Ate on the patio with only 1 server handling 6 tables. Menu was limited and brunch was available all day.

  This place USED to be great, unfortunately it's changed drastically. They have a nice bar where you could sit and watch a game, drink, eat but the last few times we were there they didn't have cable service for the TVs. Salad bar is still really nice. But the last time we were there and the times before that service is slow, and rude. After sitting for 30 min the two appetizers we had decided on and tried to order, they were out of .. don't you think servers should tell you this BEFORE you're looking over the menu??? And no they didn't run out of anything while we were waiting because nobody else had come in. Ordered Chicken Piccata which I've had numerous times there and it came out as a brown lump with brown gravy/sauce. On spaghetti.. a few capers and that's it. Other people in our group had similar. There used to be reviews on their Facebook page and people getting attacked online for leaving bad reviews, the page and the reviews there are now gone. New management ?? New owners??? There's not even a sign out near the road anymore.

  If I were to go off of my last few visits here, it would probably be closer to 1-Star. BUT, this used to be an amazing place to go! The food was phenomenal, the bar was awesome, the owner was so friendly and you could really see the passion for the business. Unfortunately, things went south and the visits became much less enjoyable and less frequent. Which is a shame! Hoping they are able to revive this business and build it back up to the place it should be! I'm rooting for you!

  We've been boating on the river for several years and this has been our go-to restaurant.  Unfortunately, no more.  We were out with friends last night and stopped in last night.  Greeted with the sign below.  No seafood!  This was on a Saturday evening at 7.  We had come for the fish and chips. Then we all decided to get the prime rib special.. nope, all gone.  Couple this with a barely stocked salad bar and no toilet paper in either bathroom, and we couldn't have been more embarrassed to take our friends there.  I truly hope Harper's can get their act together.

  Worst experience ever.  Had family in from out of town, raved about  all the reviews and how good this place was.  Walked in at 5 said that it maybe an hour wait since they just got done with a rush - we said fine because we were going to have a few drinks anyway.  Went to check on our order at 6:45 and said we hadn't seen our waitress for over 25 mins.  The lady at the bar said our food was being plated.  I gave them 2 minutes and we walked out.  Very interesting pulling out of the parking lot as our waitress was just getting back from a bun run.
  We were not the only people this evening with this experience.
